Tarunya and Sankeerth’s pre-wedding celebrations were held at Soneva Fushi, Maldives, from 12th to 14th November. Candles, infinity glass backdrops inspired the first evening, and a Cappuccino band belted out romantic Telugu songs, followed by a private sandbank evening surrounded by water on all sides with mashals, Persian carpets, and Moroccan lanterns. A leisurely lunch followed next and then a wonderful sangeet at the famous Cinema Paradiso with a Nikki beach vibe: white lanterns, fabric, family performance and family videos with personalised napkins and place mats under the beautiful sky. The post-party was organised with a temporary jetty built in the water inspired by Squid Games. On the last day, a sundowner at ‘Out of the Blue’ with bamboo place mats, glass jars with starfish, sand, blue and white corals added to the charm.
